"Love is a burning thing
and it makes a fiery ring
bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire.
(chorus)
I fell into a burnin' ring o' fire
I went down down down
and the flames got higher
and it burns burns burns
the ring of fire
THE RING OF FIRE"

-Johnny Cash

From Nothing Productions is well underway into the production of "Ring of Fire," a riveting documentary about the mysterious fiasco that halted the production of feature length romantic comedy, "Work." Rising stars Benjamin Nathan Moseley and Russell Lee Debusk, Jr. were playing two of the four lead roles in "Work," until the first week of March, when the producer/director, yours truly, got the infamous call from Sidewalk Filmfest Director Erik Jambor, letting me know that I would once again be in search of actors. Erik had heard before I had that the two promising young actors had been arrested, and now stand indicted on charges of arson...not just any arson, but the burning of several rural Alabama churches in February of '06...an incident that unfortunatly interupted the momentum of the filming of "Work." But alas..."Work" is postponed, and now we instead attempt to bring you the most honest, most objective, most intensive and insightful look at the story behind the hype of the Alabama Church Burnings of '06--a documentary called "Ring of Fire," appropriately borrowing a name from a song by "hellraiser" Johnny Cash. Having worked so closely with Russ and Ben, we here at FNP have the best view of the behind the scenes controversy surrounding the interuption of "Work," Birmingham's first "home-made" blockbuster. You can look forward to seeing "Ring of Fire" at the Sidewalk Film Festival this fall, and "Work" to re-begin pre-production this summer, to wrap in the winter, and rocket into festivals and theatres next spring. "Work" should be bigger and badder this time around, because FNP producers are currently in negotiations with venture capitalists and candidates for Prodco partners. Rumor is, Jack Black is in our sights for the open role of Sol...
